During my school days at the Gymnasium [high school for pupils intending to study at a university] Dörpsweg in Hamburg, my passion grew for informatics. Thus, I ended up receiving the opportunity in June 2011 to do a school internship at Hermes Logistics Group Germany GmbH (Otto Group) in the IT Division as well as a voluntary internship in the IT Division at the IBB Institute for Vocational Training AG in July 2011. Since 2012, I have also been passionately programming apps on the iOS & Android platforms in my free time and designing homepages.

From August 2012 to June 2015, I have made my training as an IT Specialist in the System Integration Division at Hermes Logistics Group Germany GmbH (Otto Group). During this training, I was able to acquire well-founded fundamental knowledge in the following divisions: IT Help Desk & Support, IT Planning, IT System Management, IT System Administration, IT Development, IT Quality Management, IT Computer Centre und Logistics Controlling.

At Hermes Europe (a company of the Hermes Group), I was also the author of the Hermes blog. Sustainability and the environment are also very “near and dear” to me. I energetically participated, for example, in internal projects at Hermes such as "NABU" or "Green 8" (a project steered by OTTO).

During my training as an IT Specialist at Hermes, I took a language study trip to the USA from April 2014 to May 2014. There, I attended Robert Morris University in Chicago and took, among others, Cisco courses.

In the period from July 2015 to October 2015 I worked as an IT Specialist at EndoChoice GmbH.

Since November 2015 I'm working as an IT employee at DATAGROUP AG (Hamburg Süd, Oetker Group).

Since February 2004, I have also been a Lifeguard & Instructor at the DLRG [German Lifeguards’ Association].

I also love to passionately scuba dive. After earning my first scuba diving certification in 2008 in Germany, the second certification followed relatively quickly (PADI Advanced Open Water) which I earned on the Cape Verde Islands (an island group off the west coast of Africa).
